Double Trouble | Well Dressed Salad Bar and Cafe fear. Eight Treasures Vegetarian Restaurant

Stairways to Vegetarian Heaven

Chinatown in Singapore probably is one of the most iconic places in the Lion City. It is here where you can find authentic Chinese food from the affordable (3sgd meal) to ‘atas one’ (means high status).

Some of the Chinese Restaurants I visited in the country look fancy looking but it has an affordable menu! One of them are Eight Treasures Vegetarian Restaurant. The ambience of this place is very oriental and cozy. As a single man with an average salary, this place is good for family reunions, birthdays or special gatherings. If I eat here every day, my pocket money will not last until the end of the month. It’s a little bit expensive than New Fut Kai but definitely Cheaper than Whole Earth and Ling Zhi Vegetarian Restaurant. Of course, that depends on what food you’ll have on the table.

Variety of Vegan Cakes

Well Dressed Salad Bar and Cafe this Vegan / Vegetarian Hive is very different from the one ‘upstairs’ (the sister company). It has a very modern – teenage looking place that serves non dairy products from cakes to ice cream!

What I can say is… the ice cream is super great! Tho I’ve never been to a Vegan place that is very light for my budget. Probably because the alternatives that they are using are expensive like almond milk and egg replacer. But definitely a must try place if you’ll visit Chinatown Singapore.

If you are planning to check this bar and Cafe, make sure to have glimpse of their Facebook account to check some deals and menu specials!
