My Review: LingZhi Vegetarian Restaurant

LingZhi Vegetarian (www.lingzhivegetarian.com) Make your reservation!

First of all LingZhi Vegetarian Restaurant is an award ‘winning one’ (telling everyone in a Singlish way). This Restaurant is located at level 5 of Liat Towers in Orchard Road. If you are new in vegetarian diet and you are not searching restaurants in the internet, you will not be able to find this place. It’s like a hidden gem in the middle of the shopping centre in a tower where you will not imagine that there’s a yummy restaurant serving very good quality of food.

Anyways, this restaurant was recommended by my Norwegian friend, who likes to find hidden restaurants, literally! We went there after yoga class, not knowing that we need to have a reservation. But then again, we are lucky enough that there’s a space for us.

To make the story short, we had a hard time to choose some food, we were trying to figure out the size of each serving. Oh boy! do you know the saying ‘what you see, is what you get’? the pictures are good but the taste of the actual food was great!

Yummy Satay. 4 sticks which is enough for 2! They are big. I love the mushrooms in it. This is 16 SGD.

Stewed Eggplant stuffed with bean cured. This is 16 SGD. I love this with rice! Tho they gave us 4 Deep Fried Buns, which I don’t like, it was oily.

My friend ordered this Sauteed Broccoli Flower and Fungus. This is 18 SGD. Honestly, I did not like this food. It has pork mock meet. I’m not a fan of pork taste.

Because I’m Asian, I ate these food with steamed rice and Traditional Chinese Tea. We had a hard time finishing the food! What we ordered was good for 4 people. This will not be my last visit in this restaurant. I highly recommended this for new vegetarian people, the food are mixed with fresh vegetables and mock meats, this type of food can help you to have a good transition in the diet.

They also have branch in Velocity @ Novena Square.

Peace!
