Take tree pose to your practice, the benefits are real for this asana. Vrksasana strengthens the calves, thighs, ankles and spine. It gives amazing benefits to those who are having insomnia, headache, low and high blood pressure .

If you want to have stronger lower body, practice these variations.

Key Points:

  • Stand firmly wand find the balance
  • Gently lift the chest up without over arching the back.
  • Relax the shoulders and put them together in prayer pose or other arm position.
  • Normally inhale and exhale.

Take note, You can rest your foot above the ankles, inner legs or inner thighs but not in your knees. You don’t want to hurt your knee joints.
